Terms of service

These terms govern every purchase from aslanmotion.com. The seller is Aslan Motion Technologies LLC, Radford, Virginia ("Aslan"). By placing an order you accept these terms, the Shipping, Returns and Warranty policies, and the Export Compliance page.

Orders and pricing

  • Prices are in U.S. dollars (Canadian dollars for orders shipped to Canada) and may change without notice. Pricing and specifications reflect current platform capability.
  • Single-unit pricing applies online. Orders are limited to 100 units per line item; larger quantities, purchase orders and net terms are handled through Request a Quote.
  • An order is accepted when we ship it. Our automated order confirmation email is not an acceptance. We may cancel or limit any order before shipment, including for screening or stock reasons, and will refund any payment taken. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we may refuse or cancel the order even after it has been confirmed and your card charged, and we will refund the amount charged.
  • Pre-orders are charged at the time of order. See the Shipping Policy for ship dates and cancellation.

Export compliance

Aslan products are subject to U.S. export control laws, including the Export Administration Regulations, and to U.S. sanctions programs. By ordering you agree that you will not sell, export, re-export or transfer any Aslan product to a restricted party, to an embargoed or sanctioned destination, or for a prohibited end use, including nuclear, chemical or biological weapons or missile systems, or any military end use or end user requiring a U.S. license that has not been obtained. You are responsible for any authorizations needed to re-export or transfer a product, including when it is built into another system. We may request end-user and end-use information and may delay, cancel or refuse any order we cannot verify. Export classification (ECCN) and tariff codes are available on request.

Intended use and your responsibilities

Aslan products are components for integration into unmanned and robotic systems by qualified users. Published specifications describe the component alone. You are responsible for selecting the right part, for the design, integration, testing and safe operation of the system it goes into, and for compliance with all laws that apply to that system, including aviation, radio-frequency and safety regulations. Aslan does not certify any product for a particular application and makes no certification claims unless stated in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aslan is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from a product or its use, including loss of or damage to any aircraft, vehicle, vessel, payload or other equipment, loss of data, downtime, or lost profits, even if advised of the possibility. Aslan's total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the product concerned. The Limited Warranty states your exclusive remedy for defects.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Aslan and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers from all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your integration, operation or resale of a product, from your breach of these terms or of export law, or from any activity on your account.

Intellectual property

Aslan retains all rights in its products, designs, firmware, documentation and this website. Custom or co-engineered work is governed by its own agreement; base design IP remains with Aslan unless agreed in writing.

Website use

Content on this site is © 2026 Aslan Motion Technologies and may be printed or copied only to order or evaluate Aslan products. Do not submit controlled or export-restricted technical data through this website or by email.

Aslan, Aslan Motion Technologies and our product names and logos are trademarks of Aslan Motion Technologies LLC and may not be used without our written permission.

Website disclaimer

This website and its content are provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Aslan does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free or free of viruses, or that its content is complete, accurate or current. Product warranties are set out only in the Limited Warranty.

Acceptable use

Do not harass others, impersonate any person, upload unlawful or harmful content, or try to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to this site. We may remove content or block any user that breaks these rules.

Third-party links

Links to sites run by others are for your convenience. Aslan does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content or practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and not by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Any legal proceeding arising from or relating to this website or a purchase from Aslan must be brought in the state courts located in Radford, Virginia, or the federal courts for the Western District of Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises.

Changes and notices

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this site. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order. We may send you notices by email to the address you gave us or by a notice on this site.

General

If we do not enforce any part of these terms, that is not a waiver. Neither past dealings between us nor trade practice changes these terms. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may assign our rights and duties under these terms without notice. The Export compliance, Limitation of liability, Indemnity, Intellectual property and Governing law sections survive any termination of these terms.
