Motors

Slotless and slotted BLDC motors from 0.05 to 50+ kW, designed and built in Radford, Virginia, with matched ESCs and drive electronics engineered under the same roof.

Aslan M20 Pro BLDC Motor

Two architectures, one platform

  • Slotless BLDC

High power density, low acoustic and EM signature, and smooth, low-cogging operation. The fit for ISR platforms, maritime propulsion, gimbal and pointing axes, and signature-sensitive missions.

  • Slotted BLDC

Robust, proven construction for high-volume production. The fit for attritable systems, ground vehicle traction, and commercial variants.

  • Matched electronics

Motors pair with Aslan ESCs, integrated drives, flight controllers, GPS, and telemetry, from 3S packs to an 800 V DC bus. Motor and electronics are engineered together.

Choosing an architecture

Architecture is set by the application's requirements, not by price tier. Slotless is the choice where power density and a low acoustic and EM signature matter; slotted where its construction is the better fit.

Aslan slotless motors are produced at equal or lower cost than traditional slotted motors.
